You may want to change your password occasionally for security reasons.
To change your password:
Go to the Administrative menu in the top menu bar of the eSlide Manager page and select My Settings.
On the User Details page, type your new password in the New Password box and then retype it in the box below.
If your system administrator has set password length or complexity requirements, there will be a reminder beside the New Password box. If the password you select does not meet the requirements, you will be notified and must choose a conforming password.
Click Save.
If you see the message "Session is invalid or has timed out," or "In an effort to maintain security, the system has automatically logged you off," too much time has elapsed without activity and you have been automatically logged out. To resume using eSlide Manager, you will need to log in again. The timeout period is by default 30 minutes, but the system administrator can change this default (refer to the eSlide Manager Administrator's Guide for instructions.).
Other settings on this page include:
Enable Auto-View Images – Selecting this check box tells eSlide Manager to automatically open images in a viewer (such as ImageScope) for the data you are opening.
Spectrum Start Page – Choose which eSlide Manager page you see when you log in.
Data Group for Scanning – Choose which data group eSlide images will go into when you scan slides. (This only applies if you are a ScanScope operator.)
Clinical Viewing Mode – Selecting this check box tells eSlide Manager you want to use a streamlined subset of ImageScope or WebScope tools that relate to clinical workflow, hiding general-purpose tools from the ImageScope and WebScope toolbar that are not useful in a clinical setting.
Disable Auto-Slide Flipping – The eSlide Manager Healthcare Network Applications can be configured to automatically flip eSlides in the eSlide tray so the eSlide label is on the right to indicate that the eSlide has been read. You can turn off this option here. (You can still manually flip the eSlide by right-clicking on it and using the context menu.)
Disable Workflow Email Notifications – The eSlide Manager Healthcare Network Applications can be configured to automatically email you if an item in the applications needs your attention. You can turn off this option here.
